The growing season is well underway across Groundswell’s community gardens and greenhouse. Beds are being planted, seedlings are thriving, and the greenhouse is filling up. Our spaces are alive with activity as volunteers, staff, and community members come together to plant and tend crops, share knowledge, and support local food systems.
This time of year is when careful planning turns into daily hands‑on work. We are watering, weeding, transplanting, and teaching, while also hosting learning opportunities and ensuring food is grown and shared in ways that strengthen community resilience. The greenhouse plays a vital role in this work, providing a protected space to start and nurture plants that support a successful season in our gardens.
Supporting our gardens and greenhouse at this stage of the season means supporting the ongoing care that keeps everything growing well. Donations help cover soil, seeds, amendments, water, tools, infrastructure maintenance, and the coordination that allows these shared spaces to function smoothly and inclusively.
This work is made possible through the commitment of our volunteers and the generosity of people who believe in community‑led food and climate solutions. If you are able, we invite you to make a donation to help us sustain the momentum of the growing season and continue cultivating food, skills, and connection across our region.
Thank you for supporting Groundswell and for helping our gardens and greenhouse thrive throughout the growing season and beyond.
With gratitude,
Groundswell Network Society
With your help we can continue to educate people on sustainability and environmental responsibility, as they learn to create living soil in which to grow food for themselves and food for the valley.
Donations are securely made through PayPal via credit card or by e-transfer. All donations will receive an acknowledgement email and will receive a donation receipt if requested. Thank you for your thoughtful donation.
