Information on bed rentals
The “Community” in community gardens is meaningful. You can learn from your fellow gardeners, swap watering with other bed renters when you holiday, chow down together on Groundswells freshly grown produce and contribute to other families by supporting the Food Bank with excess produce.
Some things you need to know:
To rent a Groundswell garden bed at either site you must first be a member. The Membership comes with many other benefits.

The Mount Nelson site garden Facebook group (link top right) was created to connect members of the community that are interested in Gardening. By sharing our activities at Mt. Nelson Community Gardens we hope to foster an interest in home and community gardens and share knowledge. We are inviting the Members of Groundswell Community Greenhouse and Gardens to join our group to share gardening tips and tricks. Both our successes and failures may be recorded so that we can all learn. As a community, we believe that we need to reset our priorities. Food security is at the forefront of our thinking. |
